Room 1 Classes

  • Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement.

  • Core strength & muscle toning workout PLUS cardio. Promotes coordination, stamina, & flexibility

  • This class is designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and improve activities for daily living. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support and class can be modified depending on fitness levels. Cape Fear Fitness is part of a massive network of gyms that offer SilverSneakers membership at no cost to you.

  • Connecting mind, body, and spirit. Class begins with a few minutes of meditation to center ourselves and connect with our true nature. Throughout the next 50 minutes, we move through a sequence of poses, connecting breath and movement. Moving your body to the rhythm of your breath promotes circulation. The increase in fresh, oxygenated blood delivered to your muscles, bones, and organs energizes the entire body. Class is creatively sequenced and different each time. This is a mixed level class that is accessible to everyone. Modifications are offered for beginners, and experienced students always have the option to take on more advanced variations.

  • Easy-to-follow dance steps for burning calories & better health.

  • Based on the Lotte Berk Barre method (the genesis of the Barre movement), this class fuses the best of Pilates, yoga, aerobics, and strength exercises to deliver a results-driven workout that is not only fun and dynamic, but it will sculpt your body and get you into absolutely amazing shape. You will use a combination of props that include the ballet barre, light weights, mini looped bands, and gliding disks.

  • Full body workout! Each class includes elements of cardio, working muscles, and focusing on the core. You will sweat and feel your strongest after every single class. *Weights and mats often required*

  • This class is a total body interval class fusing different workouts to challenge the body to promote cardiovascular health, endurance, and strength training. Exercises will utilize the use of any of the following props: weights, kettlebells, steps, bender balls, glider disk, and mini loop bands. (the step utilization with or without)
